Eligibility Criteria DRDO SAG Recruitment 2025
Educational Qualification:
a. Undergraduate Engineer: Pursuing B.E./B.Tech (IV Year) full-time course in the respective discipline.
b. Post Graduate: Pursuing M.E/M.Tech/ M.Sc (II Year) full-time course in the respective discipline.
c. Students who have backlogs (failed) in any semester of their degree are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit:
Candidates visit the official website for detailed information. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale:
a. Stipend for internship for a period of 06 months is applicable only when the student is present at the lab for a
minimum of 15 working days per month.
b. The stipend of the entire duration will be paid directly to the bank account of the student in two equal instalments. The first instalment of 15,000-/ will be paid after the completion of the third month, and the second instalment of 15,000/- will be paid after the completion of the sixth month of the internship.
c. Any other expenditure, such as lodging, boarding, transport, medical, etc., if any, shall be borne by the individual concerned during the entire course of the internship.
d. Attendance will be marked by the candidates as per the lab’s process. Working hours will be as per the laboratory’s time.
Selection Process:
a. SAG/DRDO shall offer a Paid Internship to students with a good academic record with a minimum 75% or 7.5 CGPA and above marks from AICTE/ UGC approved colleges/ Universities.
b. No Objection Certificate from Principal/ HOD/TPO (in original) on the college letterhead of the institute, mentioning that the student will be relieved for internship training at SAG (as per Annexure I).
c. Eligible students will be selected based on CGPA/Interview/Interaction as required, subject to satisfactory verification of the documents.
d. Only selected candidates will be notified about the joining procedure through their Email ID as mentioned in their application form.
e. Selection will be based entirely on merit. No communication will be undertaken for rejected
applications

b. In E-mail the subject should be clearly mentioned as “Application for Paid Internship – January 2026”
with Branch Code and Branch/ Discipline addressed to Director, Scientific Analysis Group (SAG).
c. Scanned copies of the following documents are to be attached:-
i. Application form duly filled in all respects.
ii. No Objection Certificate from college (as per Annexure-I).
iii. 10th Mark Sheet.
iv. 12th / Diploma Mark Sheet
v. Mark Sheets of all the completed semesters (BE/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc).
vi. Aadhaar Card.
vii. College ID Card.
d. Last date for receipt of online applications shall be 10 days from the date of publication of this advertisement
on the DRDO website. There is no application fee.
e. Incomplete/erroneous application received after the due date will be rejected. No further communication in
this regard will be entertained.
